I finally logged last night. And got my first taste of this highly anticipated game by Perfect World Entertainment. And from first glance I give it a solid B.
Graphically is is very nice. In comparison to PWI, It is a step above. The basic engine, as I expected is much like All the other Perfect world Entertainment games. Button and hotkeys working very much the same way the game UI and settings are also much the same.
Overall I feel very comfortable playing the game. It can be difficult when starting a new game. Understanding the ins and outs, and I will be in this phase for a bit. Trying to grasp exactly how the game plays and how to build and excel within the game.
After logging, you are prompted with the player creation screen. This is not different from most other MMORPG's out there. You choose your Race. Human, Elf, Dwarf, Stoneman, or Kindred. And from their you will be choosing your class of character.
Human classes are Warrior, Assassin, Mage and Priest.
Elf Classes are Warrior Priest And Bard
Dwarf class is solely Marksman
Stoneman class is solely Protector
and Kindred class is Assassin, Mage and Vampire
In later articles I will get into more detail about each class and what their general characteristics are. My initial character creation was an Elf Warrior.
Sorry for the Short post. But that is about all I have for the moment. I will spend some time in game over the next week or so to give you more of an understanding of the game play and general class characteristics.

Foresaken World is now Open Beta!
Whew!
I know, it has been some time. I lost interest in waiting to get that all elusive closed beta invite. It never ever came. But after downloading and installing the game on three computers last night I am poised to begin my investigation into this new, and highly regarded game by Perfect World International.
From what I have seen so far, it resembles Perfect World International in a lot of ways. They did no veer much from their base game engine and this should make it much easier to navigate my ways through the commands and controls of the game.
As a reminder for all. I am still primarily a Perfect World International Player. If Forsaken World shows to have more promise that PWI I may make the switch. But not a complete switch. I have too much time and energy invested in Perfect world International at this time to walk away.
I may be biting off more than I am really able to chew, so we will see how it goes. With the latest PWI expansion, I will be spending time catching up on Guides and stuff for that game also.
But, never fear. I will approach Forsaken world in much the same way I approach all games. In a very methodical and logical approach I will hopefully be able to provide you with lots of insight to the inner workings of Forsaken World. And in turn, I am always open to hear your opinions of not only what I am saying, but things that I have not touched on yet. I am only one person and I do not know how everyone else chooses to play the game. Your opinions are always welcome. And on top of that. I will always be willing to offer up space for anyone who would like to write a post or a guide. All you need to do is comment me here and I will respond.
Thank you for you patience on Forsaken World Tips. I do hope that things will start moving now!

Forsaken World will be forgotten soon
I have yet to get an invite to Forsaken world Beta. I was passed over for phase I. Ok, fine. but it was my belief that phase two should have been started now. And still no invite. Reality is, I will not be forgetting, but it just shows you how Perfect World Entertainment does business. They are always a little slow to the show, and seem to leave lots of things out. I tend to blame this on the parent company. But I am not sure.
So, this is all I have to post about Forsaken world so far. I wish I had more to say. I wish I had some general tactics and ideas about classes, but instead I sit, wait, and wonder why I even bother! So, in the mean time, I am posting on Perfect world Tips blog. I will be writing another right now.

Forsaken World Closed Beta Coming soon
Signed up and all ready to go...
So, I have done this thing before. Wrote/Blogged about a online PC game, and I enjoy doing it. And I figured that for Forsaken World I would just right out and get a little head start on it.
Currently I play Perfect world International. Love the game. I think it is one of the Best free to play games available today. And being that Forsaken world Is by the same company (perfect world entertainment) I have a sneaking suspicion that Forsaken World is going to play pretty similar.
Today, for my first post, I wanted to quickly cover what is coming in closed beta and to recommend that all who are looking for a Free to play MMORPG, to go give it a look.
For the 1st phase of closed beta, we will have a 30 level cap. This is fine. Most likely with my playing schedule, I will not reach this......Not for sure on that. But if I do, my intention is to just start another class. And give them a whirl. Because much like I do with Perfect World International. My intention with this blog is to offer you tips and guides and just some general opinion of the game. And not the common type of "opinion" you can find on the games forums. Not the hateful type that really serves no purpose.
Anyway, it is my understanding that phase one will last about a month, then they will open up phase two, which caps levels at 50, opens up the arena battles and guild wars along with dueling and the cash shop.
One thing to remember for anyone who may be interested in getting a beta key. Anything you do during beta will be wiped. You will be starting a fresh character once the game goes live. So, you choose, to you test the waters or wait till the game goes live....Your call really.
As far as this blog. Up until the time I can actually get into the game. I will be doing some previewing of what the races are and classes are. We will be talking a little about the information I am able to find about the game. But once the game actually starts I will be writing more in depth about all classes and characters and any other facet of the game that I find important. And this is not the end of Perfect World for me. Just an expansion of my horizons.
I hope that you enjoy the Forsaken World Tips Blog, and I hope you come back soon!
